When did you start working for RMCon International and how did this opportunity turn up?
I did a two-months internship at IVE mbH in 2009. During this period, I also had the chance to work with some colleagues at RMCon International. When I finished my studies in 2011, the company was looking for new software developers. The great memories and experiences that I made during my internship helped me in my decision to send in my application. After an interview with a positive response, I quickly knew that my path would lead me to RMCon International in Hanover.
What are your responsibilities at RMCon International?
My field of work includes further developments of the infrastructure model of our software RailSys Suite as well as functional extensions for the Timetable and Simulation Manager. I focus on the integration of train safety systems for our international clients.
What do you like the most about your work at RMCon International?
Working for the Company is very versatile and diversified. Apart from programming small components, I enjoy solving complex problems and developing algorithms for the timetable construction and simulation. Furthermore, the fruit crate that arrives every week and the constant supply of fresh drinks contribute to a positive working atmosphere.

What unites you and your colleagues?
Apart from our collective work on a unique software and problem solving or the development of complex program structures, we are united by occasional meetings outside of our offices. On the one hand, we have joint lunch breaks that we usually spend in a nearby canteen. On the other hand, occasional events such as a visit to the beer garden unite us privately as well.
